Monochromatic Isometric City

After my time at Merit Street Media, I embarked on a personal project to explore true creative freedom using the new tools and methods I had learned in the national news studio. My portfolio piece features a kitbash of a monochromatic cool grey city, presented in perfect isometric perspective.

I purchased a kitbash kit and meticulously assembled a cityscape, positioning the camera at a precise 45-degree isometric angle. The texturing process involved applying a soft concrete finish to evoke a Middle Eastern or Mediterranean architectural feel. This project, which took about four days to complete, allowed me to experiment with cutting-edge motion graphics techniques beyond the constraints of traditional media.

The result is a visually striking piece that not only showcases my evolving technical skills but also reignites my passion for digital artistry. This experience has inspired me to continue creating and crafting modern-looking graphics, propelling my artistic journey into new and exciting territories.
