EV Charging Station

PROJECT OVERVIEW
• 3D rendering of proposed EV station
• Created a series of rendering for 5 lots
• Illustrations helped raise over $5 Million
DETAILS
Autodesk Maya, Adobe Suite CC
In the rapidly evolving landscape of sustainable transportation, I created a series of 3D renderings for a proposed multi-functional charging and fueling station designed for electric vehicles (EVs) and hydrogen-powered trucks. This project encompassed five distinct lots, each featuring approximately four different views, effectively communicating the comprehensive layout and functionality of the proposed stations to stakeholders.
Central to the design was the incorporation of DC fast-charging capabilities, addressing the common concern of charging time by including rest areas for users during the typical hour-long wait. The renderings showcased covered parking areas topped with solar panels, emphasizing a commitment to sustainability by utilizing renewable energy to supplement the station's power needs.
Additionally, the inclusion of hydrogen fueling capabilities for large commercial vehicles positioned the station as a versatile energy hub. Despite challenges in achieving the highest rendering quality due to the complexity of scenes filled with EVs and hydrogen trucks, the visualizations successfully conveyed the core concepts helping secure over $5 million in investor funding, illustrating the potential of integrated transportation hubs in supporting clean energy initiatives.
