In a captivating exploration of surrealism and digital art, I created the Wonderland series, a collection of 3D renderings that reimagined the conventional living room as a dreamlike, abstract space. This project allowed me to push the boundaries of imagination and challenge perceptions of reality through innovative 3D modeling and rendering techniques.
The series featured a surreal living room setting with three floating windows suspended above a couch and coffee table, defying gravity and traditional spatial constraints. Ethereal elements such as floating orbs and clocks were strategically placed throughout the scene, inviting viewers to contemplate the fluidity of time and space. The centerpiece of each rendering was a mesmerizing portal-like window, swirling with a kaleidoscope of colors that suggested interdimensional travel. To ground the otherworldly elements, I incorporated familiar textures like cloth and curtains, alongside organic elements such as plants and trees, creating a harmonious blend of the familiar and the fantastical.
As the Wonderland series evolved, I introduced the human form, adding a layer of relatability and scale to the surreal environments. This juxtaposition of the human figure against the abstract backdrop further emphasized the series' themes of imagination, perception, and the malleability of reality. By playing with elements of time, weight, and dimension in a seemingly mundane setting, the Wonderland series served as a powerful showcase of creative 3D visualization, surrealist art, and digital storytelling.
